Job Overview Supports clients mostly in southern Worcester County area, primarily in Pocomoke City and some in Snow Hill, by providing housekeeping and laundry services.
May be required to support clients in other areas of the county occasionally.
Assists clients by providing personal services, such as, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
The Home Care Aide allows an older person to age in their home with dignity and respect.
They provide some companionship while helping the person with task they may no longer be able to do on their own.
Responsibilities and Duties Be physically able to move objects to clean under or around them and to lift a mattress Assist with bathing, whether that is just to be near while they bathe or help them wash themselves and/or their hair Help someone dress in weather appropriate clothes Maintain contact with the Community Health Worker Note any changes with person's physical or mental well-being Keep accurate timesheet and turn it in on time Qualifications High School Graduate or equivalent 2-3 years of working with senior citizens Responsible with good time management skills Empathetic, good listener, hard worker, must abide by HIPPA regulations CPR, First Aid - must get certified after hire if not already Background check with clean driving record; pass 10-panel pre-screen Must be able to lift, bend, transfer a person, and reach.
